Ora Foods has its roots at the foot of the stunning Kaimai Range near the rural town of Matamata, New Zealand. A region located in the heart of what beekeepers call ‘The Golden Triangle’ of Aotearoa.
The triangle extends from the great mountain of Taranaki, across to the wild East Cape and up to the very top of the country in Northland. The natural flora, geography and climate of these remote locations provides the perfect environment for Manuka to flourish and for bees to thrive.

Delivering the best
We operate within a New Zealand Government controlled Risk Management Programme (RMP) / HACCP. Our factory is
audited bi-annually, and every export is verified by the Ministry
of Primary Industries to ensure our honey meets strict
government standards.
Our honey is EU export certified and FDA approved. Every unit
produced is checked by one of our quality control officers and
we perform multiple batch tests before the product is eligible
for export.
